Thank you for your interest in BowTech products. Our Overseas Military Discount Program is designed to provide much needed R&R for members of our armed forces on active duty serving our great country outside the US.

Through this program, you can purchase a right or left handed 2009 Carnivore SC 31" or 2010 Captain with the OMD Accessory Package and 4 arrows. Accessories include a Hostage capture arrow rest, 4-arrow quiver, braided sling, 3-pin fiber optic sight, peep sight, and 4-inch camo stabilizer. The Carnivore package is $500.00, and the Captain package is $625.00.

Please limit all necessary communication to strictly e-mail as we do not have the personnel available to receive phone calls. It is our goal to respond to your email within 48 hours.

Once you have completed and submitted your order form, we will confirm your active status and process your order. From the date you receive your order confirmation, your bow will typically arrive within 4 to 8 weeks.

How do I qualify for BowTech’s Overseas Military Discount Program?
You qualify for the Overseas Military Discount if you meet all of the following criteria:
  1. Active military status can be confirmed
  2. You are currently stationed at an APO address
  3. You will be stationed outside the US for 6 months or more
Does the bow have to be shipped to an APO?
Yes –the main purpose of this program is to provide you with much needed and well deserved R&R and as such, the bow must be shipped to your overseas APO address.
When does my credit card get charged?
Your credit card is charged when your order is initially processed. Please allow 4 - 8 weeks for shipment.
Are other accessories available?
No. Due to the number of soldiers participating in this program, the only accessories available through this program are listed below. If you are interested in other accessories, there are archery accessory companies offering military discounts, or contact an authorized BowTech dealer (link to dealer locator).

Can the bows be shipped to my home?
No— BowTech’s Overseas Military Discount bows & accessories may only be shipped to an APO address.
What credit cards are accepted?
We accept all major credit cards—Visa, Master Card, American Express and Discover.
How long will the program be offered?
There is no set timeline for the duration of the program, however it is BowTech’s intent to honor our active military as long as possible. BowTech does, however reserve the right to modify, or discontinue the Active Military Discount at any time.
Is there a charge for shipping?
The cost to ship your bow is included in the price of $500 for the Carnivore and $625 for the Captain.
Can family member order bow for deployed soldier?
No. The order must come from the soldier themselves and through our secure ordering website only.
I have been told that I cannot accept a bow at my APO address or that I will not be able to take it home with me. Can I ship it to my home address in the states instead?
No – We have shipped close to 5,000 bows to deployed military personnel and have yet to hear of a problem of shipping bows home once your deployment is over. If you will not be able to receive or return a bow where you are stationed, we apologize for any inconvenience and encourage you to look into our stateside program once you return to the states.
Can you order more than one bow?
The Overseas Military Discount is limited to one bow per person per year.
How do I determine my draw length?
Measure your wingspan from fingertip to fingertip and divide by 2.5.
What if I need mods?
If you have found you ordered your bow with an incorrect draw length, please e-mail us at soldierbows@bowtecharchery.com and let us know your correct draw length and APO shipping address and we will send new modules.
I normally shoot 65 pounds, will my bow come set to that?
No – All bows will be shipped out at peak draw weight. If you shoot 65 lbs, for example, your bow will be shipped out at 70 lbs with the ability to be backed down to about 60 lbs.
Who do I contact if my bow needs repair?
If you find that your bow needs warranty work, please contact soldierbows@bowtecharchery.com and let us know the problem and include photos if possible. We will coordinate repair once the information is received.
Can I call with my credit card information?
We do not currently have telephone personnel assigned to this program. Please use the secure website to enter your payment information.
How long does it take for the bow to get here?
It can take up to 4 to 8 weeks, from the time you receive order confirmation to the time you receive your bow.
Who do you use to ship the bow?
We ship all bows using Registered Priority Mail.
I want to order bow but am headed back to the states in two weeks. Can I still order?
No – It can take up to 4 to 8 weeks to receive your soldier bow once you receive order confirmation. If you will be heading home in less time than that, we offer a stateside program for those who have been in service since 2000. For more information regarding that program, contact us.
Will I get a confirmation when I order my bow?
Yes. Once your military status has been verified, you will receive an e-mail order confirmation.
Why do you need the CVV code from the back of the card?
The CVV code is used to help reduce fraud in the card-not-present environment. Please click here for more information.
What kind of arrows come with the bow?
You will receive 4 Gold Tip carbon 75/95 arrows with 100 grain field tips.
Why do you need my date of birth?
We need your date of birth in order to verify your military status.
Why do you need my military e-mail address?
This is just one more point of reference for verifying military status. This is the e-mail address we will use to send order confirmation.
